- Jenalea Howell is the Research Director of the Transformative Technologies team within IHS Technology with a personal focus on industrial IoT. She has more than ten years of research and consulting experience covering industrial automation markets with a narrowing focus on energy efficiency, industrial IoT and smart manufacturing before leading the Transformative Technology team.
- In collaboration with colleagues across the Technology team and wider IHS Markit organization, Jenalea is driving the strategy to inform relevant industries of digital trends and adoption across more than 12 verticals. This alignment of technology and verticals across IHS Markit lends to best practices for knowledge sharing of digital strategies to support the entire IoT ecosystem.
- Jenalea provides frequent commentary on various digital technologies, automation equipment and robotics, and discusses strategic development of these technologies into verticals including energy and automotive with key OEMs. In addition, Jenalea acts as the Consulting Lead for Enterprise & IT, a practice that supports clients with all aspects of their strategic planning, business development, market entry and customer relationships.
- Jenalea holds a Masters of Business degree from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor’s in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin.
