Torsten Scheidt holds a PhD in experimental physics and was educated in Munich, Stellenbosch, South Africa and Jena, Germany.
Over the past 14 years he has held various positions in R&D and Operations within the ZEISS Group. In his current role as Head of Engineering for ZEISS Consumer Products, he is responsible for production engineering as well as the digital transformation of three production sites.
