Dr. Jens Elzenheimer was born in Frankfurt/Main in 1973. He studied mechanical engineering and administration at the TU Darmstadt and received his doctorate degree in the field of production technology. He joined Knorr-Bremse in 2015 as Vice President Operations at the CoC Bogie Equipment. In the beginning of 2018, he became Vice President Production and has the global responsibility for production within the Rail Division. Before joining Knorr-Bremse he was plant manager for two German plants of SKF. He started his professional career in 2005 at Reis Robotics, a medium sized automation supplier, first as production manager and at the end as a member of the board.
