Dr. Christian Kurze can clearly be named a subject matter expert as it comes to IoT and Big Data. His focus over the last years has been on data management and data integration in order to generate value out of data. In MongoDB he works as a Principal Solutions Architect directly with customers like Bosch, Daimler and MAN as they unfold the power of IoT. Prior to joining MongoDB, Christian worked in data virtualization, data warehousing and active metadata management. He holds a PhD in data warehouse automation. When not working, he loves to play the trumpet in a Big Band as well as traditional Bavarian wind music.
