She has been responsible for Industry 4.0 in the Volkswagen Group since March 2016. Before this, she was in management functions in operative as well as in strategic positions at Volkswagen plants, in the Brand and in the Group level for many years.
She started her career at Volkswagen as an international trainee in the Production Division. In 1998 she took over the management in Logistics Planning at Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge (Volkswagen commercial vehicles) through functions in Industrial Engineering and Group- Program planning. Subsequently from 2001 to 2006, she became the Director of Logistics Optimization at the plant in Wolfsburg, where she was responsible for the planning of new vehicle projects, the optimization of series processes, planning of information flow, building a logistics center as well as the budget of logistics costs.
Since 2007 she has held various management positions concerning production strategy in the Volkswagen brand “mach18” as well as in the Group “strategy P 2018”.
