• Patrick Loosen became Senior VP, head of LSI Global Operations in July 2013. In that role he is a member of the LSI segment management team
• Patrick joined the Lonza family in 2006 when UCB Bioproducts was acquired by Lonza. During his time at Lonza Braine he moved into the role of site manager of this peptide API manufacturing site.
• Before joining Lonza, Patrick learned the trade as R&D chemist, Technical service manager EMEA and Business Manager Asia for the polyester resins for powder coating application business of UCB
• Patrick earned his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the Katholic University Leuven, Belgium.
