David Strauss is the Digital Technology Lead in the Manufacturing Excellence team for Corporate Operations at our global headquarter in Vevey, Switzerland. Key areas of his responsibility include establishing our ecosystem of partners, building of competencies and program management activities associated to the digital transformation of our manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Prior to this, David worked 3 years as Head of Packaging at Nestle USA, after joining Nestle in 2010 in Nestlé’s Product Technology Center in Konolfingen, Switzerland, where he had global responsibility for packaging technologies and development for our infant formula, clinical nutrition and shelf stable dairy products.  Prior to joining Nestlé in 2010, he has also held leading positions with PepsiCo International R&D, as well as Krones AG in Germany. Before that, he worked at Einbecker Brauhaus AG and at an Institute for Brewing Technologies at the Technical University of Munich.

David holds an engineering degree in Brewing and Beverage Sciences from the Technical University of Munich, as well as a degree in Business Administration from the VWA in Munich, Germany.
