Klaus Bauer is Head of Basic Technology Development at TRUMPF. His work focuses on Industry 4.0 and intelligent machine networks. Klaus has over 20 years’ experience in machine building, software engineering, usability engineering, machine to machine communication and security. As a pioneer of Industry 4.0 and member of the German Plattform Industrie 4.0 he worked as co-author for fundamental Industry 4.0 publications and is responsible for relevant internal and public research projects at TRUMPF.
