I am responsible for tracking Digital Transformation and the Internet of Things (IoT) at Counterpoint Research. I have over two decades of rich industry experience having worked with large tech companies like Accenture, Airtel, Nokia, and Microsoft in the past.
Before joining Counterpoint, I was the co-founder & CEO of a start-up in the competitive and market intelligence space utilizing big data and AI. I am a keen follower of the developments in devices and key internet technologies like IoT, Blockchain, AI, etc.
Han Tiong is APJC lead for Manufacturing and Industrial Sector, ISG at Cisco. He leads Cisco’s boardroom relevance in the Manufacturing industries to help our customers accelerate their digital transformation journeys. We do this by aligning Cisco’s unified technology platform & digital capabilities to our customer's business imperatives.

Han Tiong is a strong leader in Industrial Sector. In his 30 years of industry experiences, he leads Industrial sector for HP, IBM, Microsoft and Cisco in the Asia Pacific. In my jobs, I love to customer achieved sustainable business performance and agility breakthrough through operation and digital maturity. Operation maturity refers to documented and optimized processes within an organization where it can be measured by assessing how well-defined and repeatable processes are, how well they are documented, and how effectively they are being followed. Digital maturity refers to organization’s ability to leverage on shifting trends of technology to create hyper aware operation to create agile informed decision making and execution. In my works, I witness, understand, document, and improve on operation and digital maturity of top industrial leaders of Asia Pacific.
Soumen is a Senior Research Analyst who is tracking IoT, Automotive and Telecommunication ecosystem at Counterpoint Technology Market Research. He is interested in IoT applications, connections, components, electric vehicles, connected cars, autonomous vehicles, semiconductors, shared mobility, services and emerging technologies.
He started his career as an Energy Analyst with Manikaran Power Ltd. He has experience in working with DISCOMs and SLDCs in Indian power and energy industry.
He is currently based in Gurgaon. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree and MBA in Marketing & Finance.
Bob's work experience includes engineering roles (15 years) at British Aerospace, General Electric Company (GEC), and the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech). He also had a decade-long career in industrial technology media as editor of publications including Control Engineering Asia, Industrial Automation Asia, and Logistics Insight Asia, and editor-in-chief at Reed Business Information Asia, Ten Alps Communications Asia, and Contineo Media.
At GEC, he was project manager for a £100,000 shop-floor data collection system, which included the successful deployment of the UK's first ever fieldbus network (WorldFIP). In Singapore, he was a member of the SIMTech project team that developed the warehouse control system for Singapore Airlines' first fully automated cargo terminal (T6). The project received the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) Prestigious Engineering Award in 2003.
As well as numerous articles for industry publications, he is a contributing author to the books Action Learning Cases in Organisational Behaviour (2004) and Many Ships, One Boat: Expat Tales and Tips (2011). Bob is also a frequent speaker at company and industry events in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Past Experience
Before joining ABI Research, Matthias worked in the regulatory department in M1 Limited in Singapore where he covered a wide range of legislation and regulatory matters related to the Singapore telecommunications industry. Matthias also worked on public policy matters related to active mobility during his time at Land Transport Authority, Singapore.
Education
Matthias has a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) from the Singapore Management University.
Fox’s primary focus at ARC is tracking and analyzing technology markets and industries in Southeast Asia and Australia. He also develops and authors global market research studies on selected industrial automation and software technologies.
Prior to joining ARC, Fox was in the intellectual property (IP) industry for more than seven years. At Panasonic, he supported different IP functions, primarily in the area of LTE and H.264 video codec, as a patent analyst.
He then ventured into the industrial automation space with Yokogawa Electric Asia, working as a patent engineer to support Yokogawa’s digitalization journey through IP.
