Dr. Reinhold is currently working as group director for new technologies / Industry 4.0 at Ipsen, an international machine- and plant manufacturer & service provider. With more than 15 years’ professional experience in the engineering and consulting business, he is currently focussing on innovative business models for customer services developed from Industry 4.0 and Internet-of-things solutions. With globally leading partners in the Aerospace-, Automotive-, Process- Tool-Industry he has been working on identifying and piloting new I4.0 B2B services.
What makes Markus want to get involved:
We all know about developments in the area of self-driving cars, robot automation and big data processing. However, how to create value from Industry 4.0 is one of the key questions we also need to answer in the B2B area. B2B has often different challenges – e.g. smaller lot sizes, a higher customization of products and specific safety regulations. So I would like to invite all participants in the workshop to share some short experience to network and to benefit from best-practices already identified in other industries.
