Dr. Thorsten Gerberich has his professional roots in manufacturing. As a trained tool mechanic with master craftsman training, he worked for several years as a fitter in production at Braun GmbH. His studies in industrial engineering gave him the opportunity to work for Siemens VDO and later Continental AG as a project manager, lean expert and coach in an international environment to shape the change from 25 locations to holistic lean management. In this context, he is also working on his dissertation in the area of Lean and MES (Manufacturing Execution System als technological basis of I 4.0). Since 2013, he has profitably applied this comprehensive change management experience to a hidden champion. First as Lean and Turnaround Manager, then as Head of a Business Unit. Since 2015 he has been managing the destiny of the subsidiary CARL HAAS GmbH including two international locations.
