Thomas heads the Linde Advanced Operations Services, a unit within Linde, that provides solutions & services for the Process Industry specifically condition & performance diagnostics as well as advanced automation
For the last 5 years he was responsible for Linde’s Operations across Asia Pacific and the Remote Operating Centre in Kuala Lumpur that is operating 125 plants in 12 countries from one control room using algorithms to predict failures and monitor the safety and efficiency of the plants. Thomas has managed the global Automation & Optimization agenda of Linde Gas. On the Engineering side he held multiple senior leadership positions including Head of Process Engineering & Commissioning, Head of Automation & Electrical Engineering.
What is the pop in your job?
"Discussing the optimisation of gasification sites in China in the morning, reviewing our progress with a Russian customers at lunchtime, figuring out with a customer from Houston how to apply digitalisation in a way that it actually generates hard benefits in the afternoon and aligning the last touch up to a proposal for an Australian LNG customer after dinner."
